A Los Angeles Lakers veteran gives a ton of praise to the Golden State Warriors after their play-in tournament game.

It came down to the wire, but the Los Angeles Lakers were able to defeat the Golden State Warriors 103-100 in their play-in tournament game on Wednesday night.

Yes, it may have been the No. 7 vs. No. 8 game between Pacific Division rivals, but the way in which Steph Curry and Draymond Green played caught the attention of NBA veteran Jared Dudley. He went on Twitter shortly after the Lakers’ play-in game win over Golden State to shower Curry and Green with praise. Dudley said that game right there is why they have won championships.

Golden State hosts the Memphis Grizzlies for the last spot into the NBA Playoffs on Friday night.

Los Angeles Lakers veteran showers Gold State Warriors stars with praise

While the Warriors have had to scratch and claw their way into the playoff picture throughout the season, Curry has played like an MVP and Green has been one of the best defenders in the league. Though Golden State is not winning another NBA Finals this year, the Warriors will be a feisty first-round matchup for the top-seeded Utah Jazz should they defeat the Grizzlies Friday night.

Overall, it has been cool to see players around the league show their respect to what Curry, Green and the Warriors are doing this season. This is not the most talented team in the league by any stretch of the imagination, yet here they are one win away from punching their ticket back into the Western Conference Playoffs. Dudley did not have to tweet this out, but we are glad that he did.

Look for Curry, Green and the Warriors to give their all in Friday’s elimination game vs. Memphis.
