Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Max Muncy sent a baseball into the ocean during a road game against the San Francisco Giants on Saturday.

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Max Muncy is no stranger to sending baseballs into McCovey Cove at Oracle Park, home of the rival San Francisco Giants. Who could forget when Muncy did so off then-Giants ace Madison Bumgarner in 2019, who was angered by the Dodgers infielder watching the home run ball. That was when Muncy famously told Bumgarner to get the ball out of the ocean.

Muncy reacquainted himself with Oracle Park on Saturday against the Giants.

In the top of the first inning, Muncy sent a 81.1-mph changeup from starting pitcher Scott Kazmir into the water located in right field to give the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead.

The home runs did not stop there, as catcher Austin Barnes hit a solo home run of his own in the top of the fifth inning. But it did not land in the ocean, instead falling into the left center field stands.

Somewhere, Bumgarner just angrily clenched his fist once watching Muncy’s homer reach the ocean.
