Left-handed pioneer Phil Mickelson hit the shot of the tournament at the PGA.
Mickelson gained a two-stroke lead on Brooks Koepka (for the moment) on the fourth hole with arguably the shot of the tournament. Facing a daunting bunker birdie attempt, Mickelson chipped the putt onto the front of the green, and let the ball do the rest.

With a tournament win on Sunday, Mickelson would become the oldest professional golfer to win a major. The record is currently held by Julius Boros, but Mickelson is slightly older at 50 years of age going on 51.

Phil Mickelson turning back to clock at the PGA Championship
Regardless of whether or not Mickelson closes strong on Sunday, it’s still an impressive feat for a golfer fighting off competitors who are decades younger than him.
No longer at his competitive peak, Mickelson is relying on his smarts and technique to hopefully win his sixth major.
