Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey admits that he is recruiting, ironically during the Julio Jones trade reports circulating throughout Monday.

Just when everyone believed that the largest NFL story on Monday would be Aaron Rodgers not reporting to the Green Bay Packers’ organized team activities, Julio Jones stepped into the spotlight, with an assist from Fox Sports’ Shannon Sharpe. Shortly after the phone call heard around the world, reports indicated that Jones had been subject to trade rumors in the past few months because he had requested to be moved off of the Atlanta Falcons.

With everyone wondering which team will give enough assets to acquire Jones, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey sent out a vague tweet talking about why superstar players should join their team. He finished his message with the hashtag “yes I’m recruiting.”

Rams: Jalen Ramsey sends recruiting message in light of Julio Jones’ trade request

This was tweet from Ramsey was not directed towards Jones specifically. Rather, he was just expressing his viewpoint as to why stars should join the Rams, because he wants to win a Super Bowl championship.

After making it to the NFC Divisional Round last season, the Rams made the move to put themselves over the edge by trading quarterback Jared Goff and draft capital to the Detroit Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford. Not only that, but they added to their receiving corps by signing veteran DeSean Jackson.

While the Rams’ wideout group is relatively stacked, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed this past year that you can never have too many players at the position. In terms of acquiring Jones, the Falcons reportedly prefer to trade him to an AFC team, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. But, they are open to trading him to whichever team gives them the best offer, regardless of conference. If there was ever a team to acquire Jones, it is the Rams, based off their willingness to trade draft picks and work around the salary cap to their benefit.

If you are a star player looking to join a contending team, Ramsey just wants to let you know that the Rams may be the team for you!
