Our first look at Dak Prescott at Dallas Cowboys OTAs is truly a sight for sore eyes.

Deep in the heart of Texas, there is one particularly bright star shining at Dallas Cowboys OTAs.

Dak is back.

After suffering a horrifying injury last season against the New York Giants, Prescott has officially returned to the Cowboys. Earlier this offseason footage of Prescott throwing for the first time emerged and now we have our first sighting of the Dallas quarterback at offseason training camp.

In what is one of the purest examples of a sight for sore eyes, Prescott was suited up and throwing with trainer and rehab coordinator Britt Brown at the Cowboys facility this week.

Prescott’s return couldn’t come at a better time for Cowboys fans. The sting of last season extended well beyond the loss of Dak, as Dallas cratered in its first season under Mike McCarthy and failed to do what it took to win the NFL’s worst division.

It’s just the first of many steps Prescott needs to make in order to officially return to action. The Cowboys don’t kick off their season for another four months when they head to Tampa Bay for a nationally televised Week 1 showdown with the Super Bowl champion Buccaneers.

But seeing Prescott back on the field after the way we all saw him leave it last year is an amazing sight. That NBC broadcast will be more than the kick off to a new season, it will mark the bright lights of a triumphant return that is starting right now right before our eyes.
