On Thursday night, the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers will battle it out to see who can take a 2-1 series lead in Game 3.

The Los Angeles Lakers stole a victory on the road to even up their first-round series against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis delivered as fans have come to expect to secure an even series for the Lakers heading back to California. Both hit big shots down the stretch to halt the Suns’ run and silence the Phoenix crowd. James and Davis finished 23 and 34 points, respectively, on a night when Los Angeles escaped with a narrow seven-point win.

On Thursday, the Suns will look to steal one back and regain home-court advantage. Can Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and company pull off a victory at Staples Center? Will Chris Paul be closer to full strength?

The Lakers are ready to do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening, but the Suns will be highly motivated after giving one up at home. Perhaps Phoenix fans will make the drive across the desert to boo the King on his court, as Golden State Warriors fans did last week.

Expect another seesaw battle and remind yourself how lucky we all are: This is just the first round! Get your popcorn ready, NBA fans!
