NBA fans are convinced that 76ers’ Daryl Morey’s latest tweet is an attempt to try and recruit Steph Curry to Philadelphia.

Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey sure is stirring the pot on Twitter this Thursday. That’s because Morey may have just tried to recruit Steph Curry from the Golden State Warriors to the City of Brotherly Love?

That’s what NBA fans across the country are thinking after Morey delivered quite the Twitter post. In his latest tweet, Morey dropped the caption “Join ’em” with a photo of Seth Curry originally posted by his brother Stephen Curry on Instagram. So who exactly are you wanting to join the younger Curry, Mr. Morey?

Daryl Morey may have just tried shooting his shot with Steph Curry on Twitter

That really feels like Morey is trying to catch the attention of the Golden State sharpshooter. Come 2022, Steph Curry is all set to be a free agent. Obviously, the Warriors are going to be ready to do everything possible to try and sign him to an extension before countless teams come calling.

Of course Philadelphia would love to land him. Heck, every single team in the league is probably dreaming of adding him to their roster. Steph Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history and can catch fire whenever he’s on the hardwood.

While everyone thinks Morey is already trying to recruit him to the Eastern Conference, he quickly took to Twitter to clear things up about his previous post. He’s backpedaling here a bit, saying his message was more about Seth Curry and not his superstar brother. Alrighty then.

Moving forward, Morey better be careful with what he publishes on social media. Otherwise, he may be getting another call from NBA commissioner Adam Silver down the road.
