While the numbers are rumored at the moment, how much are Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul planning to make for their fight on Sunday?

With just two days to go, Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul are set to box one another in front of a large in-person Miami, Florida, audience, along with thousands of other fans who plan to order the exhibition on pay-per-view.

While the fight is under specific specialized rules, including the fact that there is not a formal “winner” in the bout, Mayweather and Paul are each projected to make $10 million (plus 50 percent of the buy rates), and $250,000 (along with 10 percent of the buy rates), respectively, according to Sporting News Australia. At press time, these numbers have not been verified by Showtime Sports or anyone closely associated with the event itself.

Mayweather returns to the boxing ring for the first time since a 2017 win against former UFC double-champion and MMA superstar, Conor McGregor. Mayweather is 50-0 as a boxer, while Paul sits at 0-1. Both men will compete in an exhibition bout, as two entirely different worlds of entertainment – boxing and YouTube – will collide in the ring Sunday night.

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul were originally scheduled for February

Mayweather and Paul have waited several months to compete against one another, as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic delayed the bout when it was initially scheduled in February. Now, after months of build-up, both celebrities can finally captivate the combat sports world with a unique spectacle of entertainment that is sure to draw eyeballs.

Can Mayweather maintain his greatness inside the ring or will Paul’s heart and dedication propel him to go toe-to-toe with one of the best to ever lace up the gloves? Regardless of the outcome, fans and media members will watch the spectacle unfold, as the celebrity boxing saga continues to take center stage.
