Eli Manning claims to have taught his nephew Arch, Manning, how to sling the pigskin like this.

Not long after top 2023 quarterback recruit Arch Manning went viral by completing a 50-yard bomb to Matayo Uiagalelei during last weekend’s visit of the Clemson football program, his famous uncle Eli Manning quote tweeted the video clip in hilarious fashion.

The youngest Manning quarterback has plenty of great role models to learn from in his famous family. His grandfather Archie is an Ole Miss legend and was the first star quarterback of the New Orleans Saints. His uncle Peyton starred for Tennessee before winning a pair of Super Bowls with the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos before riding off into the sunset as a champion.

As for uncle Eli, he followed his father’s footsteps to Oxford and became an icon for the Rebels. He would play his entire NFL career for the New York Giants, winning a pair of Super Bowls over the dynastic New England Patriots. Of all the Mannings, Eli has the two most famous throws of the bunch. So when he says he taught his nephew how to throw bombs like this, we best believe him.

Here is the latest example of Manning being insanely clever and downright hilarious on Twitter.

Eli Manning’s reaction to Arch Manning’s viral clip from Clemson is priceless

As the youngest Manning brother is thoroughly enjoying retirement, the next generation of quarterbacks is looking at beginning his college career. Arch Manning’s recruitment will be the most high-profile of any quarterback since Peyton picked Tennessee over Ole Miss. While he may commit to either of his family’s schools, there is a chance he decides to leave the SEC altogether.

Clemson did offer Manning over the weekend, as head coach Dabo Swinney tends to do that after meeting a top prospect face-to-face in-person. If Manning were to commit to Clemson, he could forge his own identity for himself, be groomed to be a top quarterback prospect and maybe win a national title and a Heisman Trophy along the way, something no Manning has done before.

So if anybody asks where Arch Manning learned how to throw the deep ball, ask uncle Eli about it.
