Justin Herbert looks jacked in new OTAs photo
At OTAs for the Los Angeles Chargers, Justin Herbert looks like he’s been hitting the weight room all offseason.
After an impressive rookie campaign with the Los Angeles Chargers, former first-round pick and Oregon standout Justin Herbert is ready for more of the same in his second season. Expectations are high for him, but Herbert is already living up to the hype.
At OTAs, one major difference people are noticing is that Herbert has been focusing on his body. In a new tweet on Tuesday night that Los Angeles dropped, Herbert looks pretty dang jacked while at OTAs.

A 6-foot-6, 235-pounder, the star signal-caller looks like he’s certainly put on some weight and mass. Imagine trying to tackle him. It was already difficult enough, but now that he’s gotten bigger, things are only going to get more complicated for defensive linemen and linebackers.
In 2020, the quarterback stole the show from the moment he took over as the team’s starting quarterback. On the campaign, Herbert threw for 4,336 yards and 31 touchdowns. Due to an injury to Tyrod Taylor, Herbert was thrown into the mix much sooner than anticipated by Anthony Lynn.
It proved to be gold for Los Angeles, though, as Herbert was throwing the ball all over the field from start to finish. Now, he’ll enter 2021 with the confidence that he’ll be leading the offense out onto the gridiron once Week 1 rolls around.
His potential is through the roof, and fans all over town can’t wait to see what he can do this fall. Big things appear to be coming for Herbert and this team. While the Chiefs are of course the AFC West favorites, LA will be ready to surprise some folks.
