2. Chicago Bulls

The Bulls may be willing to make a significant move or two this offseason with a return to the playoffs in mind, and a top-end point guard is a clear need. Led by the trio of Zach Lavine, Walker and Nikola Vucevic, with whatever pieces surrounded them, Chicago would be a team to watch. The question, addressed pessimistically Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times recently, is if they would be able to reach the upper tier of the Eastern Conference among a group of other teams in similar position.

Chicago has lingered as a rumored landing spot for Lonzo Ball, so they are firmly in the market for a point guard. If they trade for a point guard, including a potential sign-and-trade deal involving Ball that would allow the Pelicans to avoid losing him for nothing, the Bulls have multiple ways to make the move work. As the Celtics open their doors to field offers for Walker now, that stands to matter.

Here’s one way the Bulls could swing a deal bringing Walker to Chicago.
