The Golden State Warriors are a blockbuster trade and a targeted free agent signing away from dominating the NBA championship race once again.

Even without making any significant changes during the 2021 NBA offseason, the Warriors expect a huge boost going into the 2021-22 season.

Klay Thompson will finally be back from injury and ready to help Stephen Curry drag Golden State back into title conversations.

With the Western Conference as competitive as ever, those two will need support to add more rings to their fingers.

It’s time for the Warriors to be bold and win the offseason.

The trade that could win the Warriors the NBA offseason

Bradley Beal is arguably the hottest commodity on the theoretical trade market right now. And the Warriors are the favorites to grab him, according to oddsmakers.

Beal is entering the final year of his contract, so the Wizards have some incentive to deal their three-time All-Star. They may not want to, but the possibility of seeing him go in free agency for nothing does loom.

The Warriors would also have to give up some players they may not want to part with. James Wiseman, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, could be the key to making a trade happen. Resurgent forward Andrew Wiggins could also enter discussions. The No. 6 draft pick the Warriors received from the Timberwolves could also be a great bargaining chip.

Whatever the cost of getting him, Beal would be a massive addition to any roster. He’d make Golden State’s backcourt the jewel of the NBA. A scoring duo of Beal and Stephen Curry couldn’t be matched.
