According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, three teams have already shown serious interest in potentially trying to sign Kelly Oubre this offseason.

Where will Kelly Oubre Jr. end up suiting up next season? After joining the Golden State Warriors this past season from Phoenix/Oklahoma City, the 25-year-old wing will be looking for a new place to call home this summer.

According to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo! Sports, three teams have already shown interest in potentially bringing him to town: the New York Knicks, Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

So, which one of these teams would be the best fit for him if the Warriors are unable or unwilling to re-sign him? We take a look at that and rank the squads in this piece.

3. Miami Heat

The 2020-21 NBA campaign didn’t go as planned for the Miami Heat, as the team suffered a disappointing 4-0 series sweep to the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round to end their postseason. Miami was hoping to get back to the NBA Finals, but that goal didn’t even get close to being accomplished.

Now, the team will hope to make some moves this offseason to get them back among the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Could this lead to the front office and Pat Riley giving Oubre’s agent a call this summer? It would definitely make a ton of sense, as Oubre would sure be a solid addition to play alongside Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and the rest.

At the same time, Oubre really isn’t going to be a cheap option and the Heat could look to spend their money elsewhere. We’ll have to wait and see which team he inks with, but things might get a little too crowded for him on the floor should he make his way to Miami.
