The Brooklyn Nets have given James Hard and Kyrie Irving status updates ahead of a crucial Game 5.

Brooklyn is truly epitomizing the last man standing nature of the NBA Playoffs.

Injuries have been the story of the Brooklyn Nets season, and it has reared its ugly head once again. Heading into a critical Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Nets will be without Kyrie Irving and James Harden, according to Marc Stein.

Irving injured his right ankle in Game 4 after landing on Giannis Antentokounmpo’s foot. He was seen wearing a walking boot after the game, and Nets head coach Steve Nash said he has “no idea” if he’ll be able to return to the series, according to ESPN’s Malika Andrews.

Harden only played one minute into Game 1 before injuring his hamstring. The former league MVP has dealt with the injury for quite some time now. Nash is also taking the cautious approach with The Beard’s injury, as those can be tricky to heal.

With two of their big three out of the lineup, it will be tough to beat Milwaukee, especially after their performance in Game 4.

After Irving went down, the Buck proceeded to demolish the Nets. They poured on the points en route to a 107-96 victory. The Nets failed to spark any offense that game, and the same can’t happen in Game 5.

A lot of the pressure will be on Kevin Durant’s shoulders going into a crucial Game 5. With the series tied 2-2, the Slim Reaper will need to have an exceptional performance to pull out the victory. According to Malika Andrews, he’s just going to do what he does every night: everything.
