MLB has revealed plans to completely change its policy when it comes to foreign substances and Luke Jackson took to Twitter to share a hilarious response.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred just dropped a bomb on the game of baseball as we know it. On Tuesday, the league revealed major changes to the foreign substances policy, which will include players being ejected and suspended for 10 games if they’re caught cheating, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

As you might have been able to guess, countless players have taken to social media to voice their displeasure. The list includes Atlanta Braves hurler Luke Jackson, whose reaction is sure to make you laugh.

Luke Jackson isn’t too pleased with the changes coming to MLB for pitchers

Jackson went the comedic route with his response to the changes and we’re sure glad he did. In case you missed it, Rosin bags will be allowed for pitchers, but they aren’t allowed to mix it with sunscreen. This is what drew Jackson’s tweet. In addition, per Passan, players have been informed that they shouldn’t use sunscreen after sunset at outdoor stadiums, while the use of sunscreen in indoor parks will not be permitted. Alrighty then.

MLB is clearly doing everything possible to try and crack down on pitchers using banned substances, but a lot of folks feel like they’re going way over the line here with this new call. Pitchers across both the American League and National League seem to agree.

Imagine if a player gets ejected for using sunscreen? Social media would break down. Plus, a player would be suspended for 10 games, with pay? We’ll see how this goes, but the early indication is that countless pitchers are beyond frustrated with Manfred’s latest controversial decision.
