Reason No. 2: Seeking redemption after Super Bowl LV disaster

Losing the Super Bowl is one thing, but getting absolutely dominated is another. Kansas City simply fell flat against the Buccaneers on football’s biggest stage. Not to mention the back and forth that went on between players on both teams.

That loss was a painful one, and that will be the Chiefs’ motivation the entire season.

Even after the press conference, Mahomes explained how the feeling after the game would stick with him. Many other players echoed that same sentiment. With the fire lit under their franchise quarterback and others, expect a revenge tour from Kansas City, and it won’t stop until they reach the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs will always be in contention for a Super Bowl, as long as Patrick Mahomes and that core of offensive weapons is still there. But revamping the offensive line and the bitter taste of Super Bowl LV is enough for them to wake up. NFL teams beware: Kansas City is coming, and they aren’t going to play nicely.
