Trae Young literally (okay, figuratively) shot the lights out of the building in Game 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
NBA fans are used to seeing Trae Young shoot the lights out whenever he steps onto the court. In Game 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night, the Atlanta Hawks star took it to a whole new level.
Late in the fourth quarter, Young hit a ridiculous leaning 3-pointer to pull the Hawks within one point with 1:59 to play.

The home crowd at State Farm Arena roared in approval, the Sixers were forced to call a timeout to regroup, and it seemed like Atlanta was on the cusp of stealing Game 6 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
And then the lights went out in the building as soon as the timeout was over.

NBA Twitter erupted with Trae Young jokes after the power went out
Although the lights had gone out, Hawks fans in the stadium didn’t seem deterred by it. If anything, they made a bizarre moment incredibly cool by lighting up all their phones throughout the darkened arena:

Young finished his night with 34 points, 12 assists and 5 rebounds on 13-of-30 shooting, including 5-for-10 from 3-point range. The Hawks were unable to come back and win Game 6, but no one will ever forget the night Young literally shot the lights out of the building in the playoffs.
