The Clippers fell into another 0-2 hole. Skip Bayless is one of the few fans who believe LA has the Phoenix Suns right where they want them.

Stop me if you heard this before — the Los Angeles Clippers are down in a playoff series. Well, it’s deja vu, as the Clippers lost Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals to the Phoenix Suns. A game-winning alley-oop by Deandre Ayton propelled the Suns to a 104-103 victory over LA.

For the third straight time this postseason, the Clippers find themselves down 0-2. They shouldn’t be rattled by their circumstances, as they have overcome such a deficit before. However, things are a little different this time around with Kawhi Leonard out with a knee injury.

The Clippers have at least one person who believes they’re in striking distance, despite their current dilemma.

Skip Bayless believes the Clippers have the Suns ‘right where they want them’

Even though LA is facing yet another 0-2 hole, they still have the unwavering support of sports media personality Skip Bayless. He’s been one of the Clippers’ biggest supporters in the Kawhi Leonard/Paul George era, and he had a lot to say about the ending of Game 2. He tweeted an all-caps reaction to Ayton’s game-winning dunk, claiming the referees missed a foul call that could’ve changed the game’s outcome.

Bayless’ postgame Twitter rant didn’t stop there. He claimed that Los Angeles has Phoenix right where they want them, even though they are down in the series.

“The Clippers have to do it the hardest way. Another series, another 0-2 hole. NOW THE CLIPPERS HAVE ‘EM RIGHT WHERE THEY WANT ‘EM,” he tweeted.

Bayless is right; the Clippers do make it hard for themselves. They relinquished another lead in Game 2 and ended up losing the game. However, he might be putting too much faith in the team’s ability to rebound from another 0-2 hole.  With Chris Paul potentially returning to the lineup in Game 3, things aren’t getting easier for Paul George and company.
