Monster recruiting news has arrived for Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers, as 4-star defensive end Jihaad Campbell just committed.
Dabo Swinney is no stranger to big-time recruiting wins, and he continued things in a big way on Sunday afternoon. Out of powerhouse IMG Academy in Florida, defensive end Jihaad Campbell had a boatload of offers.
He has decided to shut down his recruitment, though, giving Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff the news that they were hoping for.

Dabo Swinney just landed a verbal from a 4-star DE out of Florida
Campbell is ranked 4-stars and the No. 143 player in the nation per the 247Sports Composite. He had additional tenders from Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio State and many other schools. At the end of the day, however, Clemson went above and beyond in their efforts.
With Campbell on board, Clemson is now up to eight commitments for the 2022 class. Look for that number to grow throughout the summer.
