Cleveland Indians outfielder Josh Naylor suffered an ankle injury that required him to be carted off the field during Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Twins.

The Cleveland Indians entered Sunday looking to get a win against the rival Minnesota Twins. Winning the game became secondary, as they were concerned about the health of outfielder Josh Naylor.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Naylor attempted to field a pop up by Jorge Polanco, but collided with second baseman Ernie Clement, who was trying to track the baseball. That resulted in Naylor suffering a gruesome right ankle injury after running into Clement, and was seen in visible pain. After being attended to by medical staff, Naylor was carted off the field.
