Dak Prescott could not contain his excitement while watching Mississippi State win the NCAA College World Series.

Dak Prescott was happy and hyped watching his alma matter Mississippi State take home the College World Series title.

The Bulldogs pulled off two straight victories over Jack Leiter, Kumar Rocker, and the Vanderbilt Commodores, including a 9-0 victory in Game 3 to capture the school’s first-ever championship in baseball. This pushes their final record to 50-18 on the season, with the last one undoubtedly, the sweetest.

Prescott was at the game and proudly displaying love for his school, where he excelled on the gridiron and was eventually drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. As the game ended, Prescott and several other Bulldogs fans cheered in delight at the final result.

Mississippi State had never won a national championship in baseball, and Dak Prescott got to see it live

After Vanderbilt took Game 1 by a score of 8-2, the Bulldogs had to win Game 2 in order to keep the series alive or concede the title to the Commodores. Mississippi State counterattacked with a 13-2 victory, setting the stage for a winner-take-all in Game 3.

The Bulldogs scored early and never looked back. In the second inning, the Bulldogs were up 3-0, thanks largely to Rowdey Jordan’s RBI double. Mississippi State effectively put the game out of reach in the 7th inning. Leading 6-0, designated hitter Kellum Clark launched a three-run homer for the Bulldogs, effectively sealing the game and the championship.

This is a big win for Mississippi State and fans like Prescott, who have been waiting so long to see this moment happen. While Prescott is fired up, you can be assured that Dallas Cowboys fans are watching this and hoping that Prescott will eventually bring similar results to their franchise, i.e., a Super Bowl Championship.

Mississippi State will look to run it back again next season, and we can be assured that Prescott will be with the team for the full ride.
