The Montreal Canadiens are still alive in the Stanley Cup Finals thanks to Josh Andersonās overtime goal in Game 4.
With Josh Andersonās heroics, the Montreal Canadiens fought off elimination on Monday night, denying the Tampa Bay Lightning the chance to sweep the 2021 Stanley Cup Final.
Just under four minutes into overtime, Anderson fired home a loose puck from a ridiculous angle after Lightning goalieĀ Andrei Vasilevskiy stick-saved Cole Caulfieldās attempt.
It was the second goal of the night and fifth of the 2021 NHL Playoffs for the 27-year-old right-winger. The 3-2 victory helped Montreal avoid becoming the first team in over 20 years to get swept in the Cup Final.
