Out of nowhere, left back Luke Shaw delivered gold for England with a goal to put the Three Lions ahead of Italy in the Euros Final.

Shawberto Carlos to the rescue? That’s what we’ve just witnessed in the Euros Final between England and Italy. The Three Lions are hoping to make history with a win on Sunday and things are off to a great start thanks to left back Luke Shaw.

The Manchester United superstar had never scored a goal for England in a major tournament, but he changed that in a massive way against the Italians. Thanks to a brilliant cross, Shaw found the back of the net in the second minute of action.

England left back Luke Shaw scored a sensational goal against Italy in the Euros Final

No one expected Shaw to score first. Seriously, the odds for that must have been unreal. With that said, Kieran Trippier provided Shaw with a sensational cross, which the lefty powered into the back of the net.

This attack from England caught Italy completely off guard. Shaw was in the right place at the right time, letting the ball bounce and use incredible form to fire off his rocket. Shaw really has been superb throughout the tournament, which is of course amazing to see for Man United fans as well.

When the club signed Alex Telles last year, it really put pressure on Shaw to step his game up. He’s done just that, as he’s looking like one of the best left backs in the world. Fortunately for England, Shaw’s game has reached a new level in the Euros, as the Three Lions are on the verge of winning their first major competition since 1966. If they do, Shaw will be to thank for that.
