According to Showtime Boxing Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley just added some stakes to their upcoming fight.

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley are keeping the eyes of the boxing world on them in the oddest of ways. Even though both men are set to make insane amounts of money before a winner is even announced for their fight. Money and bragging rights just didn’t seem to be enough. So much so that they felt the need to put their bodies on the line. Even more so than they already are in a boxing match. Fighting now for the right to tattoo the loser of the bout.

“If I lose I’ll get ‘I love Tyron Woodley’ tattooed, and if you lose you have to get ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattooed and post it on IG.”

Woodley agreed.

Neither man is new to ink of course with Paul hosting 14 total pieces on his body to Woodley’s meager four. The August 29 bout will be a host of new experiences for Woodley who will be making his professional boxing debut on the Showtime card against Paul who sports a 3-0 record.

Though he is new to the world of professional boxing Woodley is in no way a new face in the world of combat sports. Holding a current professional MMA record of 19-7-1 he is a former UFC welterweight champion with four successful title defenses. He completed his contract with the UFC in March 2021 after a bout at UFC 260 against Vincente Luque. He has not yet signed a new contract with the UFC.

The card is currently being announced and finalized and as of press time, only one other fight has been revealed which will be pitting the current unified women’s featherweight champion Amanda Serrano (40-1-1) against Yamileth Mercado (18-2-0).
