During the 2021 MLB All-Star Game, Twitter is annoyed at sportscaster Joe Buck for literally everything.
There’s a growing consensus amongst sports fans that FOX Sports personality Joe Buck should stick to football. Heck, every Jeopardy! fans didn’t want him in the running to be Alex Trebek’s replacement.
With Buck once again calling the 2021 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night, baseball fans are once again adamant he is a terrible baseball commentator. Given his recent knack for trending on social media for all the wrong reasons during baseball games, perhaps it should not come as a surprise.
Here’s a look at some of the Twitter reaction to Buck’s commentary during the Midsummer Classic.
I don’t understand anyone thought having Joe Buck call this game was a good idea. It’s almost as bad as the uniforms. pic.twitter.com/dkpXYmSSq3

Am I pumped to watch the #AllStarGame ? Absolutely. Will I make it past the 5th inning listening to Joe Buck? pic.twitter.com/mfQNDoO1Sf

I get to watch an entire #AllStarGame without listening to Joe Buck. pic.twitter.com/BQXfaj90rO

To make matters worse, players are mic’ed up during the All-Star Game for in-game interviews. Baseball fans were sympathetic to anyone who had to spend what’s supposed to a fun night with Joe Buck in their ear. At least those watching from home had a mute button.
The last thing I’d want is Joe Buck talking in my ear while trying to hit a 97mph fast ball. #AllStarGame

no way these players wearing mics aren't fighting back a 'shut the fuck' up to joe buck

MLB All Star game used to can’t miss viewing, all these mic’d up players getting interviewed while playing on defense by Joe Buck is awful. Does Fox have anyone other than Joe Buck? He is more overrated than his father was.

My parents always mute the tv when Joe Buck is on. Please just pick one sport for him so the suffering can be limited to one season!!@MLBONFOX pic.twitter.com/s4XDQeiBA7

MLB fans not pleased with Joe Buck
Many baseball diehards took to Twitter to express their annoyance at Joe Buck, who has called every MLB All-Star Game since 2001. Some even posed important questions.
Why do they have Joe Buck as the PA announcer and not the Rockies guy doing the player introductions? #MLBallstargame #AllStarGame
— Benjamin Trecroci (@btron3030) July 14, 2021
Does anyone actually like Joe Buck? Serious question. #AllStarGame2021

Others had great suggestions. We vote for the players we want to see at the MLB All-Star Game, but what about the commentators? Also, can he catch a ride on Virgin Galactic’s next space flight?
I think we should get to vote for our ASG commentators. Get Joe Buck out. #AllStarGame2021

Suffice to say, most baseball fans have already had enough of Joe Buck, and his commentary at the 2021 Midsummer Classic has tipped them over the edge.
