Milwaukee Bucks legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson were among those in attendance for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Bucks and Suns.

It’s been 50 seasons since the Milwaukee Bucks were last crowned NBA champions. Among the key players who delivered on that 1970-71 Bucks team were Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson.

The Milwaukee legends made an appearance along with their old teammate and former Milwaukee All-Star John McGlocklin at Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Suns and Bucks on Wednesday.

Both Abdul-Jabbar and Robertson put up big performances in their Finals series against the Baltimore Bullets. In a four-game sweep, Adbul-Jabbar averaged 27 points, 18.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 42 minutes. Meanwhile, Robertson averaged 23.5 points, five rebounds, and 9.5 assists in 41 minutes during that series.

The duo played in Milwaukee together from 1970-1974 where they combined for six All-Star selections and made the playoffs each of those four seasons which included two Finals appearances.

They were a part of arguably the greatest runs in the history of the franchise, and roughly half a century later, both Abdul-Jabbar and Robertson are taking in the next generation of Milwaukee’s basketball greatness.
