The list attendees for 2021 SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama have officially been released.

After not having had SEC Media Days a year ago due to the global pandemic, the one-of-a-kind media kickoff spectacular will be out in full force in Hoover, Alabama next week.

From July 19 to July 22, all 14 member institutions will take turns meeting with the college football media in the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey Hotel. While all 14 head coaches will obviously be there, it is interesting that they are capping the list of players to only two representatives from each school, instead of three as in years past. Regardless, some big names will be in attendance.

Here is the official list of who will be representing each school during 2021 SEC Media Days.

2021 SEC Media Days attendee list: Which players are going to Hoover?

  • Alabama Crimson Tide: DL Phidarian Mathis (Senior), WR John Metchie III (Junior)

The most notable names on this include Auburn quarterback Bo Nix, Georgia quarterback JT Daniels and LSU defensive back Derek Stingley Jr. Of the 28 players heading to Hoover, the only underclassman on this list is Vanderbilt sophomore offensive lineman Bradley Ashmore. Per usual, it is always important to know what players each coach sends to represent his program to this.

Not only are Shane Beamer, Bryan Harsin, Josh Heupel and Clark Lea making their SEC Media Days debuts, but we did not get to see Eliah Drinkwitz, Lane Kiffin, Mike Leach or Sam Pittman make their debuts with their new teams a year ago due to COVID. Only six of these head coaches have been at the podium during SEC Media Days leading their current teams, if you can believe that.

Here is to all 42 men giving us the SEC Media Days soundbites are college football souls crave.
