Milwaukee Bucks won another title for Aaron Rodgers before the Packers could

With the Milwaukee Bucks winning their first NBA title since 1971, one of their famous owners is about to be fitted for a ring: Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers won his second title, and his first in the NBA.
Rodgers, who is a minority stakeholder in the Milwaukee Bucks, watched his team win an NBA title on Tuesday night with their 105-98 win in Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals. For the Bucks, it’s their first title since 1971 when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson led the franchise to its only other championship.
With the Bucks winning it all, Rodgers earns another ring. Of course, his first came in the more traditional form, as he quarterbacked his Green Bay Packers to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl LV.
Meanwhile, the Packers are waiting for their second title with Rodgers, one they’ve narrowly missed each of the last two years with losses in the NFC Championship Game. Perhaps they get over the hump together in 2021, even with the acrimony both significant and public.
In all seriousness, it has to be a great moment for Bucks fans and Rodgers. Milwaukee has been waiting a long time to celebrate, with the franchise having gone most of its 50 years in between titles without much chance of winning it all. In Rodgers’ case, it’s the opportunity to watch your franchise reach the pinnacle, all while likely turning a tidy profit for his investment.
In case you’re wondering, Rodgers owns one percent of the team.
