Paige VanZant shows off badly injured hands following BKFC main event (Photos)

Paige Vanzant shared a series of photos on social media of her mangled hands. 

Paige VanZant lost her highly-anticipated BKFC main event against Rachel Ostovich in Tampa. The. former UFC fighter and Dancing With The Stars contestant was classy in defeat, as both women had competed against one another three years prior in the Octagon.

Despite the loss, VanZant shared a series of photos on her Instagram of some brutally damaged hands from her five-round affair with Ostovich. The loss dropped her BKFC record to 0-2, as she had previously been defeated by Britan Hart during BKFC: Knucklemania in February.

“Guess what b****chesI’m still smiling,” VanZant wrote. “My story is full of setbacks, roadblocks, and detours. But, it is also filled with major comebacks, peace in my soul, and grace that saved my life. I promise you this, I would endure this pain every day of my life over the pain of regret. I am going to keep chasing my dream one step at a time. 99.9 percent of the people on earth would not dare do what I do. This story will be even better than my first. And if you haven’t read my book before clicking the link in my bio. That is a real pain. This is just a bad chapter. And to anyone out there struggling. Pain is only for a moment. The world may be dark and love to hate on you, but darkness does not drive out darkness only light can do that. So do not stop shining.”

Paige VanZant had a stint in the UFC

VanZant had a six-year run in the UFC that included bouts with some of the sport’s best, including Rose Namajunas, Ostovich, and Michelle Watterson. She wound up finishing 8-5 prior to leaving MMA for the boxing ring.
