According to multiple reports, Real Madrid center back Raphael Varane is set to become a Manchester United player later this week.

The news that Manchester United fans are hoping for could end up becoming official in the coming days. For the past few weeks, the rumors surrounding Real Madrid star center back Raphael Varane have only intensified.

It’s recently been claimed that personal fees have already been agreed upon between Manchester United and Varane, with everyone waiting for the two clubs to get something done. Per Le Parisen, that deal should get done by the end of this upcoming week.

Raphael Varane appears to be ready to join Manchester United

While this has been speculated for a little while now, it sure does look like things are about to become official. Should that become the case, it’d be quite the get for the English Premier League powerhouse.

Earlier this week, United announced the Jadon Sancho transfer from Borussia Dortmund. Sancho, a standout winger, is set to really take the team’s offense to a new level. The thought of him and Marcus Rashford making plays together has folks excited.

Now, Varane will be getting ready to add to an already impressive back four for Manchester United. In the middle of that defense, he’ll be teaming up with Harry Maguire. That’s an unreal duo. Then on the sides, left back Luke Shaw and right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be ready to ball out as well.

Come this season, United has hopes of competing for a Premier League title. Adding Sancho was one thing, but landing Varane would truly be head-turning too. We should have our answer to the Varante transfer soon, but all signs are pointing to him becoming a Red Devil.
