There was some major concern for Tyreek Hill when he left practice on Tuesday, but Andy Reid made it sound like it’s nothing too serious.

As soon as Kansas City Chiefs superstar wideout Tyreek Hill was spotted walking off the practice field with a knee injury, there was of course major concern for him. Hill is not only one of the fastest guys in the league, but he’s a massive part of the KC offense.

Any kind of knee injury for a player of his caliber is enough to raise eyebrows all over the place. Fortunately, head coach Andy Reid has come out and provided an update on Hill, with things not appearing to be too serious.

Tyreek Hill is dealing with knee tendinitis over at training camp

As concerning as it was to see Hill leave practice, the Chiefs are not too worried here, as the man known as ‘Cheetah’ is just dealing with knee tendinitis. At the end of the day, it looks like Hill was just removed from practice as a precautionary measure.

The team will of course want to be careful with Hill moving forward. The absolute last thing they’d want to see happen is push things here and have him end up missing some extended time. It wouldn’t be a shock to see Hill take a day off or two just to make sure he’s all set.

With his competitive nature, though, it’ll definitely be easier said than done to try and keep him off the practice field. After blowing up last year for 1,276 yards and 15 touchdowns, Hill will be ready to ball out once again this season. First thing’s first, he’s got to make sure that knee isn’t giving him issues and it won’t slow him down at all once Week 1 arrives.
