Jack Grealish is about to become the next star player for Manchester City

Per Romano, Grealish will ink a five-year contract with Man City once everything goes through. Obviously, this is a massive pull for Pep Guardiola. Grealish, 25, is in the prime of his career and put on a show throughout the Euros. He played a big role in England making it to the final against Italy.

Last season, Grealish was downright sensational for Aston Villa. It’s been expected for him to make a move to one of the ‘Big 6’ clubs sooner than later. While he had been scouted by Manchester United and others before, City are ready to spend big to get him to town.

Per Sky Sports, the Grealish transfer will be worth around $139 million. Once completed, this move will be among the biggest in the world for the summer window. Across town, Manchester United has already brought in Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. Now, City has sent quite the statement by adding Grealish to an already loaded lineup.

City is considered the favorite to repeat as EPL champs. Now with Grealish a step away from entering the lineup, they’ve put themselves in a position to go on another deep run in the Champions League too.
