The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly bringing in KJ Wright in for a visit and it would be tough for Seahawks fans to accept if he signs there.

Somehow, veteran linebacker KJ Wright is still out on the open market. The tackle machine wasn’t able to agree to a new deal with the Seattle Seahawks (yet), so he’s taking his business to Las Vegas for a visit with Jon Gruden and the Raiders.

Earlier this offseason, Wright was linked with a potential move to the Dallas Cowboys. However, things didn’t go through and he’s been looking for a new place to call home ever since. Could a move to Sin City be in the cards?

KJ Wright could very well end up signing with the Las Vegas Raiders

Wright spent the past 10 seasons with the Seahawks, winning over so many supporters thanks to his brilliant play. He was a key part of the team’s defense in 2013, which of course went on to win the Super Bowl. The following year, Wright started every game for the Seahawks too and helped them get back to the big game. That one unfortunately ended with the Patriots winning in dramatic fashion.

While folks all over the Emerald City were hoping that Wright would end his career with Seattle, it’s looking like he’ll be moving on elsewhere. Gruden and Co. would be wise to give him a shot, as the experienced ‘backer has proven time and time again how dependable he can be.

With things being so close to Week 1 too, the Raiders could be able to get Wright on a cheap, prove-it kind of a deal. We’ll see if an offer gets extended before he leaves town, but it looks like Vegas could be in the driver’s seat to land Wright’s services.
