A Little League World Series umpire calls bad balls strikes that only Angel Hernandez would.

The only logical explanation for this ball being called a strike in the Little League World Series is if Angel Hernandez was behind the plate.

While there is no crying in baseball, there is crying when you get drilled in the shin by a fastball by another 12-year-old for all the world to see. When a preteen’s fastball arrives in the left-handed hitter’s batter’s box, it is not a strike, no matter what side of the plate this kid swings from. This is the type of bad call that BatDad or Stan Marsh will come out of the stands to get himself ejected.

Not even Tom Glavine in his illustrious prime would get this call a full foot off the plate for a strike.

The Little League World Series has been ruined by an Angel Hernandez imposter

Only the umpires are getting paid for this, as we have not figured out the intricacies and ramifications of preteen NIL laws. However, this ain’t about you, bro. It is about the kids and their opportunities to be on ESPN well before they hit high school. Some of these Little Leaguers go on to be legends like Todd Frazier and Jake Fromm, but nobody cares about your boy Blue one bit, sir.

While the internet has been calm ever since Jenny Taft kicked her Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless into a fiery volcano abyss after his latest hot take about Mike McCarthy’s weight, here is something else to get mad about right before dinner time. Little League baseball is all about the kids and no kid should every have to deal with an umpire doing bad Angel Hernandez impressions.

You are allowed to cry in Williamsport when the umpire embarrasses you on national television.
