After Stephen Curry opted out of the Tokyo Olympics, the question has come to fruition on whether the seven-time all-star will participate in Paris.

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors made the executive decision to not participate in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. There were numerous factors that played into said decision, such as his age and his health, which are all valid reasons. But the one question is with Curry’s opting out in this year’s Olympic Cycle, would he be available for the 2024 Olympics in Paris?

Steph Curry definitely wants to play in Paris for the 2024 Olympics, as reported by the Athletic

Tim Kawakami of The Athletic talked to Curry about his decision, to which he had no regrets about opting out. With the journey that Team USA men’s team went through to take home a gold medal, it filled up the 34-year old with pride. “Seemed like they didn’t talk too much throughout the process. But then when they got to the podium, it was on.” Said Curry.

When he was asked about if 2024 was on the table to get his first gold medal of his career, it was a most definitely. “Oh, all day,” was what he had to say about the opportunity to add that to the arsenal of accolades.

With him being 36 at the 2024 Olympics, he may one of the more seasoned players, but he’ll definitely be ready to work. Plus, Team USA is no stranger to having vets on their teams, just ask the women’s team.
