Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi caught up at PSG training for the first time and it’s something that fans everywhere will love to see.

The Lionel Messi era with Paris Saint-Germain has started and it’s really been something to see. While Messi had a heartbreaking exit from Barcelona, he’s all set to get things rocking with the Ligue 1 giants.

How could fans get any more fired up? Well, Messi caught up with Kylian Mbappe at training for the first time on Thursday and the two were smiling from ear to ear. This really is awesome to see.

Paris Saint-Germain featuring Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe is almost unfair

As great as that is to see, things will only get better for the first matchday of the season. These two flying down the pitch together, along with Neymar Jr., will be one of the best soccer shows in the world.

With that said, a lot can happen through the end of the summer transfer window. Earlier this week, French reporter Thibaud Vezirian broke the news that Mbappe informed PSG that he’s hoping for a summer exit, with his heart set on playing for Real Madrid. If Mbappe doesn’t head out of Paris in the coming weeks, the expectation is he’ll head to Madrid next season.

Again, you never know what might happen before the window comes to a close. Despite the reports and rumors continuing to swirl, Mbappe remains a PSG player and he’s happy that Messi is getting used to his new club already.

PSG is of course the favorite to win the Ligue 1 title this year, but they should also be considered major players for the Champions League as well. The club surely has what it takes to lift both cups next spring.
