The one and only LeBron James is absolutely fired up during Justin Fields’ first game with the Chicago Bears.

After a slow start on Saturday, Justin Fields is reminding Chicago Bears fans why he was taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Fields has recorded two early touchdowns in the second half, highlighted by a great toss to tight end Jesse James.

Before Fields and James connected, LeBron James took to Twitter to let all of his followers know just how impressed he’s been with the first-year quarterback. Getting praise from arguably the best NBA player of all time has got to mean the world to Fields, once he sees the tweet of course.

Earlier in the day, folks were trolling Fields for already being a bust. Now, those same fans are having to eat their words, with the rookie signal-caller getting better and better with each snap.

James is a die-hard Ohio State supporter, so it should be no surprise that he’s rooting for a former Buckeye superstar. Fields played two full quarters on Saturday and showed flashes of brilliance.

The closer we get to Week 1, the louder the noise will be from people in Chicago calling for him to be the team’s starter. Matt Nagy has quite the decision coming, but Fields is making it easier for him.
