Noah Syndergaard blasts ESPN in NSFW Instagram story (Photo)
New York Mets hurler Noah Syndergaard is furious with MLB and ESPN after the team’s Sunday showdown was moved to a night game.
Despite New York Mets hurler Noah Syndergaard still sidelined due to injury, that doesn’t mean he’s not making headlines over the weekend. That’s because the stud pitcher is downright furious with MLB and ESPN.
On Sunday, the Mets are all set to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, things have been switched up and now the two powerhouses will face off at night. With the game set for 7:08 pm ET, things won’t get done till probably after 10 p.m. This is terrible for New York, as they’ll then have to fly across the country to take on the red-hot San Francisco Giants on Monday.
Noah Syndergaard is furious with the Mets’ new schedule change
As you can see in the tweet above, Syndergaard couldn’t be less happy with how things have played out. Fortunately New York’s Monday tilt with San Francisco won’t be until the evening too, but the Mets players and coaches are certainly going to be exhausted.
This is tremendously poor planning by MLB, and it’s already giving San Francisco quite the advantage when they host the Mets in two days. It’s easy to understand why Syndergaard is so frustrated.
As he works his way back in rehab, we could see the man known as ‘Thor’ back on the bump in the fall. However, the Mets have recently come out and said that Syndergaard is likely to come out of the bullpen rather than start games once he suits back up.
He’s eyeing a potential September timeframe, but there’s also a chance we don’t see Syndergaard this season as well. He’s been recovering from elbow inflammation which came in his recovery from Tommy John Surgery. Mets fans are hopeful they can see Syndergaard later this season. Only time will tell if that happens.
