Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dropped a video promoting his first ever signature shoe, the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX, from Adidas.

Patrick Mahomes is one of the biggest names in sports. It’s only fitting he has his own signature shoe on the market.

The Chiefs superstar posted a video promoting his new kicks on Monday.

“I’ve dreamed about this since I was a little kid. Years in the making, excited to officially unveil my signature shoe — Mahomes 1 Impact FLX. This is just the beginning,” Mahomes wrote on Instagram.

You can check out more angles of the shoes from Darren Rovell and Eric Woodyard on Twitter.

Mahomes flashes on the football field with his footwork all the time. Shoes with eye-catching neon are the perfect look to represent him.

Retail for Mahomes’ signature shoe is set at $130, according to Tim Newcomb. It features a newly released logo for Mahomes’ brand.

The release date for the shoes is Aug. 23. Adidas is also dropping a clothing line to go with.

Patrick Mahomes deserves an eye-catching signature shoe

Mahomes may be fulfilling a childhood dream, but you can bet his focus remains on the upcoming 2021 season in the NFL. His Chiefs are a Super Bowl contender again this season with the 2018 league MVP and three-time Pro Bowler at the helm.

Last season ended in disappointment with a loss in the Super Bowl to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. Despite that, Mahomes put up huge numbers while leading the team to a 14-1 record. He threw 38 touchdowns with just six interceptions, adding another two scores on the ground.

The only thing better than showing off his new shoes would be doing so with a second Super Bowl ring on his hand while he does it.
