Golden State Warriors forward Kevon Looney got absolutely humbled at his basketball camp.

No one wants to get clowned on the basketball court. When you’re a professional basketball player, getting clowned at your own basketball camp might be the ultimate disrespect.

Kevon Looney is going to have to figure out how to walk with his head held high after that happened to him.

The Golden State Warriors big man was holding a camp when some young kid made minced meat out of him. And it was all caught on camera.

Someone get Looney some Advil, because his bruised ego is going to need some treatment for a long, long time.

How is Kevon Looney going to turn up to Warriors facilities after getting worked?

To be fair to Looney, he’s defending from the 3-point line in a way you wouldn’t expect from him in his normal role during a game. Going one-on-one with a kid like that was probably his first mistake. He set himself up for some embarrassment.

Credit to the kid too: Those were some nice moves! But Looney won’t be able to live this one down, while that kid gets to live on it forever. It’s not every day you get to school an NBA player like that.

Looney himself was once a talented young kid. He was a McDonald’s All-American and Wisconsin Mr. Basketball before heading to UCLA for a season. The Warriors drafted him with the 30th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

He’s won two NBA titles with Golden State, though his role has been limited in his six-year NBA career. He started a career-high 34 games last season while averaging 4.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists a night. His best season in the league was in 2018-19, when he averaged 6.3 points per game. He averaged 7.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in the playoffs that season.

Next. Everyone hates their NBA 2k ratings. dark
