There’s a bit of drama over in Turin, as Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Juventus that he wants the club to sell him before the end of the summer transfer window.

Have we seen the last of Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus? It sure feels that way, as rumors have swirled throughout the month that the player no longer wants to suit up for the Serie A side and wants a new club.

Well, things have just reached a new level, as Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Ronaldo didn’t start on Sunday for Juventus because he’s asked the team to sell him before the deadline arrives. Where could we see Ronaldo playing next?

Transfer rumors: Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to leave Juventus this summer

Despite being 36 years old, Ronaldo is still playing at an extremely high level and he can most definitely help a team go on a championship run. With that said, it’s clear that his heart is no longer in Turin and he wants a new start elsewhere.

Romano is reporting that no teams have put in an official bid yet for him, but Ronaldo surely wouldn’t come cheap. You’d have to imagine clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and others would welcome Ronaldo with open arms.

At the same time, those teams aren’t going to drop an insane amount of cash for a 36-year-old player. It would have to make sense financially for someone to pull the trigger and make Juventus an intriguing offer.

For now, Ronaldo remains a Juventus superstar, but that could change here in the next few days. Only time will tell if the standout ends up finding a new team, but right now it sure looks likely that he’ll be leaving Italy soon.
