The MLB Pipeline Twitter account made an error in their tweet referencing a change to the Chicago Cubs’ top 30 prospects list.

Throughout the season, each MLB team is set to see some changes made to their top 30 prospect lists on MLB Pipeline. That happened on Tuesday, as outfielder Nelson Velazquez rose up to the No. 30 slot in the Chicago Cubs‘ farm system rankings following the promotion of left-handed pitcher Justin Steele.

MLB Pipeline’s official Twitter account sent out a message to relay the news of the switch in Chicago’s rankings. Unfortunately, the tweet mistakenly said that “Riley Steele graduated,” not Justin Steele. Riley Steele is an adult entertainer.

MLB Pipeline mistakenly refers to Justin Steele as Riley Steele

Riley Steele is a pornographic actress, who had a supporting role in the 2010 comedy-horror film, Piranha 3D.

Steele, the Cubs’ left-handed pitcher, received promotion to the major league roster this month. In two starts, Steele was credited with two losses, surrendered five earned runs on 10 hits and struck out six batters in nine innings.

It is entirely possible that the social media manager mixed up the names of Justin Steele and right-handed pitching prospect Riley Thompson, who is the Cubs’ 29th-overall prospect. Mistakes happen and we are all prone to make them from time to time.
