We bet you’re wondering which NBA player has the most turnovers of all time. The title belongs to none other than the King himself.

Turnovers have always been a great indicator of whether or not players are responsible with the ball. In the 75 years of its existence, there’s been many players who have been turnover junkies…be it because of the team they play for, or their personal performance.

But turnovers can happen to anyone, and the more you play, the more likely you are to face turnovers throughout the duration of your year. We just didn’t expect it to be this guy.

This guy is the one and only LeBron James. It may be shocking to know that LeBron James is the all-time turnover king, but that doesn’t mean it’s all bad. He just recently took the mantle on this past NBA season, passing Karl Malone according to Sam Quinn of CBS Sports.

Lakers: LeBron James leads NBA in all-time turnovers

LeBron James leads the all-time NBA and NBA-ABA list in total turnovers with 4,592 overall.

Fellow Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Russell Westbrook and assist king John Stockton also have bragging rights at being major turnover initiators. For those who are GOAT debate addicts, Michael Jordan is No. 30 on the NBA list and No. 33 on the NBA-ABA list.

But does this mean LeBron is terrible at basketball? Not really, since he is the key player when it comes to scoring and playmaking. Like Stockton, James is floor general, so missed shots, over shot passes, or carelessness from teammates can also contribute to him racking up turnovers. Majority of these athletes on this list are in the guard position, or have ran that position heavily throughout their career.

Next. The Whiteboard: Russell Westbrook is king of the negative triple-double. dark

Regardless of what is said, some folks will take this article and run with it when it comes to the quality of play that LeBron produces around him.
