The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans are wrapping up the preseason with a tune-up tilt in Texas on Saturday night.

The roster crunch in Tampa Bay and Houston is about to get tighter.

On Saturday night, the Buccaneers will battle the Texans in the final preseason outing for both teams.

This one isn’t about Tom Brady or Tyrod Taylor. The focus is on all those players still fighting for a place on the 2021 roster. Who will make a big enough impression? Who will see their hopes slip through their fingers? We’ll have to see.

The Bucs have yet to win a preseason game, so a victory would definitely be welcome. They lost 19-14 to the Bengals in their first game and were trounced 34-3 last weekend.

The Texans may have their issues, but they’re 2-0 in the preseason and looking to go into the regular season with an unblemished record. They’ve come away with two road victories, 26-7 over the Packers and 20-14 over the Cowboys.

How to watch Buccaneers vs Texans in the preseason

The Buccaneers and Texans will kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium in Houston.

Local fans in Houston can catch the game on ABC13. Fans in Tampa should tune in to NBC WFLA. However, the national audience will have to find the broadcast on NFL GamePass.
