Of course, a Miami football fan would record a diss track guided at the Alabama football team.

Though there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the Miami football program these days, recording a diss track ahead of their season opener vs. Nick Saban’s Alabama football team is a bold, bold move.

Miami may be the No. 14 team in the nation and one of the better programs in the ACC, but Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the country and has not lost a game since 2019.

Even if the Hurricanes are playing with house money in their neutral-site affair vs. Alabama in Atlanta on Saturday, you do not want to poke the bear. Miami can lose this game, but being embarrassed is not an option.

This Alabama diss track resulted in the creation of a Miami diss track from an Alabama professor.

Does Miami have what it takes to potentially upset Alabama in Atlanta? It is not likely, but yes, it is possible. The Hurricanes seem to have the right head coach in Manny Diaz entering year three on the job. They have a serious Heisman Trophy contender at quarterback in D’Eriq King. Alabama did lose an absurd amount of talent to the 2021 NFL Draft. It is razor-thin, but Miami has a chance.

Even if the diss track from a Miami fan has to make some Hurricanes fans cringe, what do they have to lose in this one anyway? If Miami wins out in the 12 games to follow past Labor Day, the Hurricanes will make the College Football Playoff with marquee wins over Clemson and division rival North Carolina. As for Alabama, the Crimson Tide cannot go 0-1 entering their SEC slate.

Here is to the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta between Alabama and Miami living up to the hype.
