With the regular season almost here, Kay Adams isn’t sold that anyone will be able to take down the Kansas City Chiefs this year.

All signs are pointing to the Kansas City Chiefs putting up historic numbers this year. All we saw in the preseason was just how brilliant of a team they are, with Patrick Mahomes making things look easy like usual.

If you ask insider Kay Adams, she doesn’t think that this team will be taking its foot off the gas at all throughout the year. Will anyone be able to take them down? If you ask Adams, she just simply does not see it happening.

Chiefs: Kansas City could be on the verge of making history this season

As you can see in the video above, Adams is quite passionate when talking about how great the Chiefs can be this campaign. We saw much of the same last season, but the team ended up losing the Super Bowl to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now, though, after improving the offensive line — of course highlighted by signing Joe Thuney to his $80 million contract — the Chiefs offense got even better. Mahomes is a freak of nature, we all know that.

On top of that, Tyreek Hill is one of the fastest guys in the league and Travis Kelce is among the top tight ends out there, regardless if he’s rocking a beard or clean shaven. The Chiefs will open up the season next weekend going up against the Cleveland Browns.

If you ask Adams about that showdown, she’ll probably tell you Kansas City will cruise to an easy win. Don’t be surprised if that happens, as the Chiefs really are looking dangerous leading up to Week 1.
