Former Los Angeles Dodger is back at his old stomping grounds as a member of the Atlanta Braves, and he hit a bomb off Walker Buehler to open up the scoring.

An NLCS rematch — and potential NL postseason preview — between the Braves and Dodgers has taken centerstage at the beginning of the week. Joc Pederson has played on both sides of this budding rivalry, and now takes his swings in an Atlanta uniform after a brief stop-off in Chicago.

The Dodgers overcame a 3-1 deficit at the hands of the Braves to win the NL Pennant on their way to a World Series. Braves fans would rather not be reminded of that fact, so here’s a Pederson home run instead.

Reunited and it feels so good.

Braves: NL East is Atlanta’s for the taking

The Braves entered the day 3.5 games up on the Phillies, and if they don’t put Phila away soon, they risk going into an end-of-season series with their rival with the division on the line.

While Braves fans should have all the confidence in the world they could come out on top in such a series, it’s a scenario they’d rather avoid if they can.
