Look: Trevor Lawrence wearing Georgia gear will make Clemson fans sick
Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence had to pay off a bet by wearing Georgia gear after the Bulldogs bested the Tigers.
It was weird enough seeing Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville Jaguars gear after he was drafted by the team earlier this year. Now Clemson fans have been confronted with an even more unsettling sight: Lawrence in Georgia gear.
The former Tigers quarterback apparently made a bet with Jags teammate Terry Godwin, who played for the Bulldogs. When Clemson lost, so did Lawrence.
“You look good in red and black,” Godwin teased while taking a video of the quarterback decked out in Georgia colors.

Trevor Lawrence paid for Clemson losing to Georgia
Clemson undoubtedly missed Lawrence’s poise when they took on a formidable Georgia defense on Saturday. The Bulldogs limited the Tigers to just three points.
Let’s be fair to new quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei though. He was sacked seven times as the protection in front of him fell apart.
There’s no telling what Lawrence might have been able to do in the face of that rush, but it might not have been much better. He could have the chance to show everyone as he tries to navigate life behind a shaky Jacksonville front this season.
If Lawrence wants to keep making gear bets with his teammates, he’ll need Clemson to pick up the pieces in the coming weeks. The good news? They still have the ACC Championship to fight for and can make the College Football Playoff with a little bit of help.
