The Las Vegas Raiders are the least liked professional sports team in North America, according to an analysis of social media over the last year.

Not-exactly-breaking news: The Raiders are the most hated team in sports.

The Action Network came to that conclusion by reviewing “negative sentiment” for teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and MLS over the last year.

It was the Raiders by a landslide.

Of course, that’s probably exactly where they want to be. The fanbase certainly feeds off of that kind of sentiment.

In fact, the first reply to that tweet was from an LV fan saying, “NO S***!!! US AGAINST THE WORLD.”

That franchise has never operated like the NFL is a popularity contest. You wouldn’t expect them to start now, even with a new home.

Sports fans really don’t like the Raiders.

The Dallas Stars were the most hated NHL team but still far behind the dislike levels for Vegas. Five of the Top 8 hated teams came from that league.

The Bears were the second-least liked NFL team. The Broncos also got a mention.

The 76ers led the NBA in dislike with the Raptors up there as well.

Apparently, people don’t have strong negative feelings about MLB teams in general, which will be a surprise to New York Yankees fans around the country. A slew of MLS teams made the cut, though.

Being unlikeable on social media is a spectrum in the end. You can bet the Chiefs hate the Buccaneers a bit more now than they did before the Super Bowl.
