Alabama football star Bryce Young is teaming up with Colin Cowherd to host his own podcast.

Bryce Young will be giving Alabama football fans a great behind-the-scenes look at what it means to be a college superstar, as he is joining Colin Cowherd’s The Volume podcast network to host his own show, The Bryce Young Podcast.

The news was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Young will appear alongside his co-host Jake Crain of The Volume’s Jboy Show every Tuesday. While we have had quarterbacks speak to the fans through the media before at post-game press conferences, this is the first time a starting quarterback of a major college power football will have his weekly podcast, thanks to the nation-wide changes in legislation when it comes to NIL.

“It won’t be the first time a quarterback talks after the game, but it is the first time that I remember that a big-time college football quarterback at a national powerhouse has a platform — and you will hear them every Tuesday,” said Cowherd.

Outside of The Bryce Young Podcast and the Jboy Show, The Volume has orchestrated a similar deal with Notre Dame football players Kyle Hamilton, Cam Hart, Conor Ratigan and K.J. Wallace to host their own show about the Fighting Irish.

Alabama football star Bryce Young will have his own podcast on The Volume

What makes Young’s upcoming podcast on The Volume so interesting is not only is he the starting quarterback for Alabama, he is only in his second year with the program. Young is not even draft-eligible and is only coming off his first career start for the Crimson Tide. If his podcasting chops are anywhere near as good as he looked vs. Miami on Saturday, Alabama fans are in for a real treat.

With Young now joining The Volume, this is a massive change for the world of college athletics.
